I got a gift card for Barnes & Noble, think I'm gonna pick up Season 2.

And yes, disregard my earlier comment - those reviews were referencing the old VHS release. I have Season 1 on DVD and love it.

Pity the fools who grew up too late to know the real Muppets, and think Muppet Babies are the thing ...

I can not go thru Menominee without singing. Menominee da daaa da da dit. Menominee da daaa da da. Sounds to much like the opening song for the Muppets.
Animal was of course my favorite followed closely by beaker.

So I skipped season 2 and went straight to 3 to get the Roger Miller episode. Which kicked ass - he interacted better with the puppets than most of the guest stars, didn't lipsynch his songs, and was clearly stoned to the bone.

I wonder how much seeing it as a kid is responsible for my later love of Roger Miller after I "discovered" him, not knowing I'd almost certainly already been exposed on the Muppets ...
