I saw this again last night and was left feeling nostalgic for the Twin Cities circa 1986. From the old red MTC busses, the lame Mpls. squad cars, the Zantigo drive thru where Calhoun Square's parking lot now is, etc etc etc...I did one time try to find the house that was in the movie but had no luck..and also that weird warehouse place where M&M was crashed out.

The sheperds were lame, and rightly so- Anybody know what high school that was filmed at? And any other little known facts about locations and people in the movie?

I remember watching it probably 20 years ago thinking that many of the street scenes were St. Paul streets.

Wow... this is Old School, but a few of the crew are still around and in the biz. I sit on a board with one of the Associate Producers, and took a workshop from Robert Koster.

A freind of mine lives across the street from the house where the movie was filmed. I still remember the streets being closed off for the shoot. Cheesy but fun film.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090151/locations

The hospital scenes were filmed at Midway Hospital in St. Paul. My dad worked there as a carpenter/handyman and assisted the crew in building some piece of scaffolding in one of the rooms; I'll have to ask him more about it. I know he said a lot of the footage they shot there didn't make it into the finished movie.

I vaguely remember there's a scene where some of the cast get in a car on Cedar Ave. in downtown St. Paul and the scene seques to Uptown Minneapolis to make it look like it's all one block.

Need to rewatch this, it's been years.

There's a scene where there is a shooting, that scene was taped under the Earl st bridge on the East Side of St Paul.

The car chase scene with M & M getting chased by the cops was taped on E 7th st and Hope st,once again on the East Side.

The house where they stayed at was on either 5th st or 4th st off of Maria.

Forgot about this movie. We were walking somewhere in Minneapolis and saw them shooting a scene for this. Walked up and saw Emilio and the chick who costarred. I think we got an autograph. Yaa.

Who? I grew up a block from Washington High where they did a lot of filming. Emelio was a pretty normal guy. The woman in the film was a raging psychotic. I remember watching her throwing a fit. Kicking and crying like a 5 year old.
