is 61 today! I have had an unabashed or abated infatuation w/ Ms. Smith for about 25 years...
1st time I saw a show was like a religious experience.

Now I know a few of you will poo poo (Zom), but what the hell, viva la Patti.

How can you not love Patti? The night McClellan got fired at First Avenue and she was playing was the single-most surreal work experience I've had in my life. It seemed so appropriate that she was there to see him out.

Here's the general synopsis of the book "Please Kill Me" by Legs McNeil:

Americans invented The Punk Rock and Patti Smith has big tits.

I concur, it was a trip, even for us non-workers. Watched the drama unfold as I sat upper left side, by the offices.

What is it about the presence or aura of Patti? She just always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel better. We crossed paths today in Greenwich Village. I wished her a happy new year, and she returned the gesture. I immediately felt warm and wonderful. Patti rules!
