A lot of those guys that went to one of the big companies relied on a lot of drugs to keep their shit together.
Steroids, pain meds, muscle relaxers, sleep meds, growth hormone, other recreational drugs just to have fun because road life sucks and because you can afford them... and once your career is cut short you've got a big fucking monkey on your back. |

I wonder if he was related to Christy Canyon?
She was my first love. |

Just read his autobiography "Wrestling Reality" and he talked about the scene above being on youtube.. He was smashed out of his gourd..Those were just some random drunk frat guys on the beach..
He also died after that Benoit guy.. I thought it was before. Now I must go search for a book about Benoit..
I'm also kind of hooked on Joe Rogans podcasts... I don't care for the meathead interviews, but all others have been quite informative and entertaining... Didn't know he was so smart and generally cool. |

Huh, I didn't know you were a rasslin fan.
I don't watch the new product. I do however love Jim Cornette's shoot interviews, and watching some of the old matches from the 70's and 80's- AWA, NWA, WWF- back when people thought they were watching an actual contest. Hahahaha, stupid marks.
I saw Jumpin' Jim Brunzell (you know, Greg Gagne's tag team partner in The High Flyers) at the Cub Foods liquor store in White Bear Lake last summer. Talk about staying true to ones hometown. He looked pretty damn good for a dude that's almost 70.
Rogan...
Yeah, he's a funny guy, and a lot smarter than people aren't familiar with him would give him credit for. And goddamn does he get some good guests on his show- Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris, Neil DeGrasse Tyson- plus his comedian friends like Ari Shaffir, Joey Diaz and Bert Kreischer. Holy shit does that podcast produce some classic moments.

I'm addicted to watching full episodes of Joe Rogan.. Some are 2-3 hours long. I watch/listen while doing other things, and usually will go back and re-watch. My favorites were Jordan Peterson, Dr. Rhonda Patrick, Megan Phelps-Roper(god hates fags granddaughter),Leah Remini, Neil Degrasse, Robert Sapolsky, Buck Angel, Jesse Ventura... I hate watched the full Henry Rollins one and was not impressed with Joe kissing his ass... But, what are you going to do..
I'm currently watching/listening to a mycologist by the name of Paul Stamets.. I'm thinking of ordering some stuff off his site...

The one with Alex Jones and that Bravo dude was very interesting... They all got stoned and drunk.. Made Alex look human, given all his "issues"... |
