Hardly.

The funny thing about the "deferred results" argument is how often the party in power gets the credit for the good things while blaming the past for the failures.

Not saying you are, but I'm referring to this:

I think this illustrates most liberals complete lack of economic understanding.

I think the Democratic party uses the general lack of economic understanding of people in general to their advantage.

I should have put it that way to start.

I was kind of hoping for the econ debate. Although I am a liberal, I like to think that I have an economic understanding. The University of Minnesota thought I knew enough to give it a mention on my diploma, but I'm not above being educated by same old.

Damn, now that I understand what you're saying you've kind of mooted my point. However, I think that the same can be said for both parties, and it also probably applies to most topics, not just economics.

If I ever meet you in person, I will discuss it with you. I really don't want to type this all out.

My real world experience (and results) demonstrates my economic understanding.

Sounds good. You're not going to try to make me belief that you're doing better economically than rocker654, are you?

BTW, my two paragraphs were actually two different posts; the first before you clarified your statement and the second after, but I did an edit instead of a new post.
