The Last Waltz was on TV tonight. Good stuff. Joni Mitchell and Neil Diamond were definatly highlights in my opinion. You can fast forward through the Dr John Crap and hear some well recorded rock music.

A must see for anyone.

Joni Mitchell is the most beautiful, talented, intelligent, inventive, risk-taking, humble, strong, gifted, classy female folksinger of our generation. Check out her youtube vids.

As I usually post here around Thanksgiving, watching (or listening to if I'm on the road) The Last Waltz is an annual tradition for me on Turkey Day. With the exception of Joni Mitchell & Van the Man, I'm not a regular consumer of anyone else's music in the documentary, BUT I love, love, love those opening shots of Rick Dando playing pool, there's just something about his attitude & appearance that greatly appeals to this woman who came of age in the early 1970s.
