In my house (your attic) all month long. I just started with Tenebre,
a Dario Argento flick from 1982. I was expecting something other
than what I got. Although there's a great dismemberment scene and
a lot of boobs.

14 out of 20 stars.

Next up: Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter was surprisingly well done. I could see the
group of dorks who made it becoming the Canadian Troma. Although I
would've liked to have seen more blood and guts. Also the girls weren't
really all that hot. But what do you want from a buncha Ottowan nerds?

I give it 31 out of 42 stars.

Slomgom, not sure if you've seen any of these, but here are a few horror recommendations, all linked to their imdb page

DEAD END - suprisingly scary straight to DVD flick.

[REC]- They've just remade it in Hollywood and called it Quarantine, but there's a couple good moments in this Spanish film.

I DRINK YOUR BLOOD - Classic Drive-in, hippie, blood cult, drugs and rabies exploitation.

For some reason I've always preferred Lucio Fulci to Dario Argento.

Based on a comic of the same name, 30 Days of Night is the best
Vampire movie I've seen in a long time. There are great visuals, gore,
violence, action, all the stuff I want in a vamp film. What really seperates
it from the glut of shitty PG-13 fright films of today is the writing. There's
no bullshit, no stupid teenagers (in fact there's only one teenager),
nobody falling down and dropping the car keys, 30 days kicks out the
story portions quick and ratchets up the action and blood-sucking violence
straight away. Some of the framing and shot composition is far superior
to most mainstream movies...there are some interesting pictures. I love it!

I give 30 Days of Night 171 out of 185 stars.

The Worst Horror Movie Ever Made is truly one of the worst films I've ever
seen. There are moments of genius absurd humor, fun inexplicible editing
and bizarre characters. In a few places it toes the line of outright racism
which brings down this otherwise fun, hokey-as-shit, cheap-ass amateur film.
Goes good with drinks

I give The Worst Horror Movie Ever Made 1 out of 5 stars.

Jack Brooks Monster Slayer misses greatness by that much. It comes
close in a lot of different ways, but never quite gets there. The film isn't
exactly sure what it wants to be or how it wants to get there. Is it a
comedy? a horror? a comedy horror? a gore-fest comedy horror? a
schlocky slapstick horror plumber comedy? It failed in each attempt: not
funny enough, not gory enough, not low-budget enough. I think the main
problem is that it's Canadian.

In a similar vein to Slither, Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, but far from
the same league.

2,500,000 out of 5,000,000 stars.
