Not at these levels lil' buddy. BHO is on pace to make even Carter look like fiscally responsible prez.
It's quite evident that this (Chicago) Administration & congress has a real problem with the folks that make this country work. At this point it looks like they are lining their pockets & stetting up their cronies w/ taxpayer $.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/29699.html

Basically Smash n' Grab the taxpayer before they lose congress. I seriously would not be surprised if Mr. BHO is faced with impeachment in 2011.
There is a difference between the USA & Venezuela... still.

Good job Obama, keep destroying that evil private sector.

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The number of newly laid-off workers seeking unemployment benefits rose last week, a sign that jobs remain scarce even as the economy recovers.

The increase also may result from the difficulty the Labor Department has in seasonally adjusting the claims around the Easter holiday, which falls on different weeks each year.

"This is ... a volatile time when the numbers move around quite a bit," a department analyst said.

The Labor Department said Thursday that first-time claims increased by 18,000 in the week ended April 3, to a seasonally adjusted 460,000. That's worse than economists' estimates of a drop to 435,000, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.

California also closed its state offices for a holiday on March 31, which likely held down the claims figures. On an unadjusted basis, claims rose by 6,500 to nearly 415,000.

Initial claims have dropped four out of the past six weeks and many economists say they are likely to soon resume their decline.

Unsuprisingly unemployment has jumped again, now it looks like BHO is going to push a VAT tax to pay for his massive amounts of spending.
Gotta pay for his war ion Pakistan too!

hmmm.. interesting! From the WSJ:

Quote:
One result has been a sharp increase in food and energy prices that took gasoline up to $4 a gallon. These have produced what economists call "income effects," or a change in consumption resulting from a change in real income. People who pay $4 for gasoline, or $30 more for groceries, have less money to spend on other goods. They also tend to feel poorer, which can influence their overall confidence in the economy.

One big difference is who feels these effects. The wealth effects have helped everyone but especially the affluent. The income effects have been felt most acutely by the poor and middle classes for whom food and energy are a much higher proportion of income. QE2 and near-zero interest rates have been a boon for bankers and hedge funds. They haven't been so great for suburban families who commute to work and haul their kids to football and music practice. The monetary policy so favored by liberal economists and the White House has actively favored the wealthy over the middle class.

Oh no! The job creators that didn't create any jobs are now losing money! They probably didn't get enough tax breaks and gov't incentives.

P.S. - That article is pretty funny. A par for The Onion.
