People keep saying what a wonderful book this is...I own it, haven't read it...I'm not too hot on Irving...I read Until I find you...it stunk...I know Hotel New Hampshire was very good...I did enjoy that one..Garp I found a little hard to get into (of course I was reading it when I was in jail, that could have had something to do with it??) Cider House Rules was a good movie (didnt read the book), but for the most part, I think Irving is over-rated...and I think Until I Find You was out there cuz Irving is Irving...not cuz the book had any merit...it appears as if the editors were intimidated and let it slide...mosho

I only read 'A widow for one year'. . .I liked it, even though it was probably a girly novel. It was one of only three books I had when I was in a treatment facility for a month. Good times.
