I was unsure weather this post should belong in the General Hangout
section, the Komputer section, the DIY section or the RIP section. It's a
little bit of each and I think the major part of D&D is reading and
imagination, so I put this here.

Anyway this is sort of sad news for any D&D player:

RIP: D&D co-creator Dave Arneson

Although I haven't played Dungeons and Dragons in pencil and paper
form for many years, I don't think I would be the same person I am
without it. I spent many, many hours (even days) as a pre-teen and teen
hanging out with my friends, rolling dice, bullshitting and drinking.

I had Gary Gygax' spiral-bound book "Chainmail" that I sold on ebay 10+ years ago for a tidy sum. I stole it from my uncle.

I have a friend up north who did a lot of the black and white illustration for their magazine for several years.
