| Werner Herzog directing? Odd. Also, can't understand why people say Nicholas Cage is such a great actor who just picks bad roles. He's not terrible, but great? I never had the guts to watch Bad Lieutenant and probably never will. I've long lost the stomach to watch gratuitous displays of deviant behavior. |

| The thing here is that it's not really a remake so much as a continuation. Plus it's Werner Herzog! Who's great. My feeling is that the new version will be much better. |
