Finally, somone else on this board who is as excited about this show as I am! I was raving about this guy here back in October 2004, and no one seemed to know what the heck I was talking about. Last time he came here in Nov. 2005, he sold out the Cabooze, and I missed my window. I'm definitely gonna be at this show!!  |

His live album is wonderful.
A friend of mine found a studio cd that I'd never heard of out in San Francisco, it's pretty good, but not as good as the live album. |

I am that friend, and I already have my tickets.
I like this shit.
I can probably hook a few people up with the "Shake off the Dust ... Arise" studio album tracks if you PM me - it was put out by a non-profit org in 2004 and hard to find.
Some of the songs that are also on the Live at Stubbs album are way slower and kind hard to appreciate after being used to the fast live ones, but others are as good or better (and you can make out lyrics better). Plus there are some great tracks not on the other album.
Glad he's playing First Ave and not someplace really lame. |

| I've downloaded a handful of recent shows from some of the torrent sites, and I can say that what he's doing since those first two albums is even more incredible. I'm actually glad he's playing First Avenue, myself. |

I'm seriously super fuckin' pissed!
I had my whole day planned tomorrow around getting up early, going to the record store and picking up Matisyahu's new album "Youth". It was supposed to come out on Jan. 31st, but now it's been moved to March 7th!!!!! FUCK THAT!!!!!!!!
