I watched her again on Meet the Press Sunday and was again very impressed. She's become a brilliantly good politician.

I talked to a friend tonight who suggested something I'd never considered before. Hillary has said repeatedly she won't run for President in '04. She's never once said she wouldn't be VP. President General Clark, Vice Pres. Rodham. President Dean, VP Ro-Cl. Christ, the bounce she'd have could get Carol Mosely-Braun elected. Eight years in, then do what Al Gore couldn't.

It made my head hurt to think about it.

My friend H. (not "Hillary") called it two days in advance --

H. is very smart (not "Hillary").

I dunno. Isn't Hilary a typical "republican-lite" Dem. Did she fight the tax cut? Did she fight against the patriot act? How about the Iraq invasion?

Or did she curtsy to W on each, like the rest of her pathetic party? And what's so inspiring about that? That she's a woman? Well, so was Thatcher.

Maybe you're misunderstanding me. I'm impressed by how adept a politician she's become. I personally can't stand the Clintons and I would never vote for a republican or a democrat ever again. If you haven't seen her do the Sunday morning shows lately, which was specifically what I was addressing, I suggest that you do and then ask me what's inspiring about her. Nothing. But she can talk the talk as well as any politician I've ever seen.

Hilary should run for Prez. I would vote for her... if I was 18. If a chick were to run for president, she would be the one!

forget clinton in 2004. she'd only run if it was a sure win for her. she'd have a better chance of running and winning in 2008. if cheney is veep the next time (2004), he'd have a hard time running in 2008 for prez because he too old already -- and he has too much baggage. but what happens if W chooses, say, Condi Rice as veep the next time around?

clinton hasn't a chence in 2004 (thank GOD!), but with either senario I outlined above, she has a fair chance in 2008. And I still have 50 bucks running with a lefty friend in Seattle that she WILL run in 2008.

how about this: bubba becomes Sec. Generar of the UN and the feminist who rode her husband's coat tails becomes Prez. . . ?

I doubt she will run against President Dean in 2008.

ha ha! just look at dean and see that he is another McGovern, who LOST BIG TIME!

but besides the point, Hilary, who is an extremely smart and calculating individual -- and who's husband is still in charge of the dem party -- wants dean to win the primary so he can loose to bush so that she and bubba can pave the way for the hilary run in 2008. i'll put fifty buck that says dean will loose to bush, and i'll stake that fifty bucks that hilary will run in 2008.

You shouldn't talk about Elizabeth Dole like that.
Speaking of riding coattails, without the family name, George Bush would be a an assistant manager at WalMart.

Last paragraph from that link:

Quote:
President Bush has argued for a guest worker program that would allow undocumented immigrants already in the United States to keep their jobs for up to six years. The effort hasn't gained much momentum, partly due to fierce resistance from others within the GOP.

My garsh 1.5fisted, how could you post a link that shows "glorious leader" in such unfavorable light?
