A friend once went to Bestbuy to purchase this on DVD as a gift for a friend. Upon arriving home, she was mortified to find that she had bought flesh gordon. heeheehee

I ranked this up there with Buckaroo Bonzai when I was a kid...need to find a copy of the flash version on DVD for the colection.

Philip Stone!!!

"Might I say he's been a very, naughty boy, Mr. Torrence. I think he may need a little, correcting, too, if I may be so bold sir."

(Damn I need to learn how to post pictures.)

Kubrick loves Philip Stone. Oh yeah, and I think Flash is a terrible movie. The entire soundtrack was done by Queen, right? Fun.

as much as I love flash, and I mean love l-u-v, it is in no way any where near the same class as buckaroo banzai across the eighth dimension, not even close

The qualifier on that sentence was "when I was a kid." As an adult with extensive exposure to film, I have since revised that opinion...and even BB has dropped in my esteem due to it's poor production quality...BUT that doesn't detract from the sheer happiness I feel watching them now as they remind me that I had such a wonderful avenue of escape at the time.

Hold on there now, Siskel. If I remember correctly, aren't you an adult who thinks "PCU" was a masterpiece?

Wow. I saw the title of the thread and that's the song that went through my head. Now have Max von Sydow & Christopher Plummer ever ben in a movie together? That would be worth watching.
