Well, except for the fact that they don't review vinyl, it's a good magazine. My grandma bought me subscribtions every year for christmas since I was a little kid, and I keep renewing it. My room was festooned with maps as a kid and I think it stimulated an interest in history, and geography in me. You could subscribe to a lot worse magazines.

i think their editorials are very scewed by research and advertising dollars, but it's still a great magazine. and the images are always great.

You're lucky, I got stuck with Readers Digest. Ugh.

How old is K. again? Do they still do the tribal boobies thing? NG's good stuff for a developing mind.

On to more important things: Does he have enough Legos?

I can see it now:

My son is 4 and half. He got enough Legos. I like the fact it grew more interest in history and geography in Felix as a child.

"We sent our photographers out to capture images of the Authentic American Punk Rocker (rawkus independentus) which, due to over comercialization, has recently been put on the Endangered Species List."

I like NG alot. Cool magazine that wil foster cool interests in Little K.

Perhaps they can get some of those "tribal shots" at a Crash Worship show instead of the Congo.

I got it as a kid but I never read it because I thought it was boring.

I got interested in history anyways.
