Anybody know anything about Reverend guitars?

I saw this article in today's paper and now I'm curious.

As far as I know, each one is handmade. You can cut yourself really bad on all the aluminum/metal stuff imbedded on them if you are not careful. But over all I remember them being good guitars & bass guitars.

It's too bad that there are no pictures with the article.

Encore ususally has one or two on the wall.
I wonder if they still have the triple pick up Ace Frehley KISS guitar.
I'm sure the Travis Beans are still there. At $1500 a pop, they are not for the faint of heart or wallet.

They're appealing in a Jazzmaster way. It feels like a company where the guy will get into trouble with the IRS, go out of business, and then the guitars are worth $5000.
