So, what's the purpose of the "TCPUNK - 1991 thru 2001" section? Nobody seems to post here much. Is it for discussing the past ten years of punk rock? Has punk rock been dead for that long and that's why nobody posts in here?

C'mon people! Show some pride..err...something.

Those of us who were still doing it 1991-2001 arent much the types for self promotion or shop talk, right DLBU? It's hard enough to get us to post upcoming shows!

I was listening to the Microwaves (Pittsburgh) CD today, and I thought track 4 "Robot Monster" sounded a bit Voivod-influenced. Now, I don't know much about Voivod other than my friend Justin really likes them a lot (well, two of their albums), but I've heard them enough to where I felt like I could hear an influence.

I turned 13 years old in 1991, and I don't remember what I was listening to then. I know I listened to a lot of mainstream pop-punk after Green Day's explosion in 1994 until I graduated high school in '97. Now there's nary a pop-punk CD in my collection minus the D4 CDs I've got.

Mindless blathering? Possibly. But hell, it's nice to talk about SOMETHING.

Scotty, I haven't met you yet, but I know you through association. Has your wedding happened yet? My roommate is either GOING, or is in it - I can't remember which.

Yep that's the same Sharon.
And she's way too cool to waste her time on this board.
