Eau claire, Wi, 50 people on a bus, no food, nowhere to sleep, Walter's beer. That was punk! And wasn't that you, Badgas, asleep under the P.A. while the Sports played?IP: Logged |

All I can say was that I was never known for my ability to hold my liqour...I vaguely remember a stop for beer and the rest is a blur...people looking at us like freaks as we piled out of the bus into the auditorium...waiting(drinking) through sound check...I probably got a little "tired".IP: Logged |

That was one of the wackiest shows of my youth... Chris johnson had to convince my mother that he would be a guardian for me, I was like 13, so I could go. On the bus, cases and cases of cheap beer, Dale T. had a 1/2 ounce of hash that we all ate and smoked... Walking into the Joynt in Eau Claire and being served at the bar... And somebody told me bands played somewhere...IP: Logged |

Obviously I don't KNOW know the guitarist. I don't swing that way. Why is it I am the only young punk here? Everyone else is an old fogie. That makes me laugh. Ha ha ha.IP: Logged |

How about the benefit show with thw Warheads at the Entry. It was soon after OarFolk burned and they were raising money for the artist who lived upstairs from the fire. (the name Chuck Fred just popped into my head, is that right?)IP: Logged |

Why not have another gig? You could do it in my garage. It's a 4 car garage! That would be oh so crescent fresh.

I know its not a Minneapolis club but I think everyone has been there just the same. I shot this just after the band rolled into NYC in the summer of 1988 during the Monsters of Cock tour.

Sport, the Warheads as well as Bad Thing and Soul Asylum saved my white ass by helping bail me out of a lawyer bill. and is it wasn't for the Chainsaw it would never have gone down. So I'm pulling out records to go DJ tonight at a bar and I put on "Voice of Reason." That record kicked ass! I haven't played it in so long, but I still found myself yelling "workhouse workhouse." It's amazing how your subconscious holds onto things...IP: Logged |
