A friend of mine in Madison used to see them all the time on State Street bumming smokes. They're all grown-up now...whatever happened to the youngest punk band in the world? IP: Logged |

I can fill you in a bit.My son Jesse played drums for most of Old Skulls "career". He is now spinning records (mostly Drum and Bass) and making his own tracks in and around Madison. I won't say much about the Toulon side of the band, but the dad is seen daily on State Street panhandling. That was a crazy ride. I tried for over ten years with the Tar Babies for "success" and then to have my own kid come along and get the trips to Japan, LA, New York, Life Magazine, People, Newsweek for cripes sake! Not to put your kid's band down but I saw both and seriously.... The Tar Babies were much more intense... especially in combo w/Mecht Mensch (sp?) on the ticket in Mpls.Out of curiousity.... How did Old Skull start? and What is the discogragphy of your family? IP: Logged |

How old is your boy now? How's his attitude in general towards things? Father and son can be proud for the remainder of their days.. that's very cool. IP: Logged |

Me, too! My copy's been lost somehow someway. Your website is ultracool. Surely, you've seen House on the Rock and the Rock in the House? Here's a link to something we found somewhere on I-94, it may be the mouse and cheese that you already have... http://www.wilycow.com/boys.html

I heard the Kids pops would get pissed when they stole his beer because it was his, and he was a generally bad parent using his kids for his own means.... Anyone else see em on Montel a few years back when the talk shows were having their "street kids" field day?IP: Logged |
