Oh, my goodness! I think I have a cassette of them stuffed somewhere. One of my roomies 10+ years ago was from the twin cities and he had their tape. I remember it had "Slasher" and "T Shirt Ink" on it. Pretty great music, in a fucken awful sort of way. -p IP: Logged |

The GG stuff was never released. I doubt it was ever even recorded. There's a cd called Res-Erected that has a few songs taken from a video shot in the Entry.IP: Logged |

Earl Root did an interview with GG around the time of the entry gig as well. Does anyone have a copy of it? Every time I've asked Earl about it he blows it off and calls GG a rock star. IP: Logged |

If the video came from Merle then its 2 cameras "edited" together very poorly. The instrumental into "Beer Picnic" was spliced together to make the song twice as long. If anyone has a single camera shot of the show I'd like to see a copy.IP: Logged |

There were some tracks recorded by the bisquits with GG at Mirror Image recording studio, in the house that GG was staying in and some of the bisquits, including Ron Parker, were living in. I'm not sure how "finished" the recordings were though. My understanding is GG stole the tapes and disappeared the next morning after the show, they were planning to record an entire LP to be released on Homestead...one humorous note, while GG was in MPLS., I went with him and Ron to First ave. to see the Trashmen! He loved the show and went backstage afterwards to shake their hands...boy if I only had a camera!!!IP: Logged |

Perko, do I know you? I was hanging out with GG and the Biscuits that day (interviewed him in the afternoon, then headed to the Trashmen show) This is in another thread somewhere but yea the Trashmen were (nothing against em) for the most part a bunch of middle aged dudes doing covers and every once in awhile they would whip out something super cool like Surfin Bird or Bird Bath. Then GG of all people went up and got their autographs after the show and was absolutly thrilled!! Like kid a in a candy shop! Next night he's throwing his poo at people, cutting his leg open, and sending people to the hospital by banging their heads with mike stands, not to mention splitting in the middle of the night with some tapes.
