Does a band from the mid 90's now count as Then?

State of Fear are my favorite TC band ever. I like them more than Husker Du or Misery even. Jon, Bracken and Jay moved from Connecticut with one 7" already recorded, recruited a local drummer then recorded another 7" and an LP. They also did a track on All Go, No Slow. I think the first two 7"s are solid gold. Some of the best Scandinavian style crust recorded on any continent. The first 7" is especially brutal "shroud" is my favorite track by far. Live these guys could sometimes be too wasted to pull it off. But they hit it enough times to make them one of the best bands of that critical 94-96 period. Sof released a CD discography and did a brief reunion a year or so ago.

I think the state of fear song(abuse) is tied with the man afraid song(3/91) for best song on no slow, all go.
they were great.

The Murderers song "Things To Do Today" ranks right up there as one of the best songs on the first No Slow..comp as well. I seem to remember hearing that S.O.F. were supposed to do some recording when they got back together. Did they?
