Probably my favorite brainless Oi band, I used to love the Cockney Rejects, espescially their albums, which were all "greatest hits" until they went metal (vol. 1 thru 4 I think?) Trying to track down their live album, vol. 3, any help would be appreciated...

OK, I guess it was just vol. 1-3 for the greatest hits,vol. 3 subtitled "live and loud", then an album called "the power and the glory" which I've never heard, then they went metal with "the wild ones" which, god help me, I really like a lot!

Bill Halvorson told me a great story about the late Jamie Kernbauer.

Jamie and his entourage would be wandering around the neighborhood, with Jamie leading the Reject's chant.

Jamie: "And we're runnin' through the backstreets!"
Gang: "Oi, Oi Oi!"
Jamie: "..And we're giving Jamie money!"
Gang: "NO WE'RE NOT!"

I recently traded a friend for a Cockney Rejects shirt she was wearing on a whim, and I've had a renewed enthusiasm for them over the past month.
This band sounds like they're having the time of their life when they're playing, it's true... and as for the listener, well, that vibe seems to be contagious.

Yeah, me too. I've been on a retro kick listening to the Business "best of" in my car. Last week I was driving to work and I saw a van with mexican plates that had a Sham 69 sticker - is that the coolest? I tried to follow but he was too fast for me :{
