Way back when, KBEM and/or KFAI had a serialised sci-fi drama called "Ruby: The Galactic Gumshoe". If anyone remembers it here's a way you can relive the story: http://www.zbs.org/Ruby/ Tons of other radio dramas and ear candy, plus ZBS is just kinda a cool operation (if you disregard the spiritual programming they have). Yeah, I remember that. Very ethereal and metallic. Very strange to hear as one is waking up. Struck a chord with me. I think they used to have it during Fubar Omniverse on KFAI. Hmmm, maybe they had Mark Trail.... IP: Logged |

My wife is an obsessed ZBS junkie. She's got nearly everything they've done, all the Ruby's, all the Jack Flander's.She even has a pre-Ruby Ruby story that has her smoking and swearing - it's really hysterical. The story I actually found myself gravitating to was "Fat Cats", a murder mystery. It's a 2 - cd thing that's only a part 1 - there's no finale to it yet. KFAI still has radio drama at 3 p.m. on saturday afternoons, so tune in and check it out.
