That's because we keep them! I still have my Electric Warrior vinyl that I bought in '74, plus my Slider from around that same time.
I don't know how long or how many they pressed, but frequently the good stuff isn't to be found in the used bin.

trust me..you find good stuff in used bins if you look long and hard enough. if not used bins..then behind the counter, on a wall, or a place for rare used items for sale etc. I just never come across it. Even the later bolan albums like zip gun or dandy i never see anywhere.

I bought a BEAT TO SHIT copy of Electric Warrior a few months ago because it was the first time in ages that I'd seen ANY vinyl copy of that record. $3 at Treehouse.

i see the Electric Warrior lp at times brand new at record stores but its those repressed audio something or another records. Ive picked up the Electric Warrior Sessions on viynl as well as a nice dbl lp entitled Marc Bolan and T-Rex "I danced myself out of the womb" from Treehouse. The only place i was able to find the new boxset was at Know Name Records in Dinkytown. They also have that T-Rex/Roxy Music dvd.

I went from having 2 T Rex LPs to 13 in the last year. I got almost all of them at the Hymies record shows at the Lyndale VFW, plus a few others here and there. Compared to hardcore records T. Rex stuff is easy to find and not too expensive.
