Did anyone see Ted Nugent last night? How was it? Ted has always kicked ass, except when he was in The Damn Yankees. I don't knowwhat he was thinking then.IP: Logged |

I saw Nugent in 1976, back when I still liked him. Even then I was disappointed in how much he sucked. Now, he's a real joke. He indeed sucks terribly, and is also a psycopath as well. What a fucking joke.IP: Logged |

From an interview by "Classic Rock Revisited"TN: Oh yeah, there is a poem called Anyway. It goes, "Sometimes you give the world the best you got and you get kicked in the teeth.....give the best you got anyway." It does another variation, "Sometimes you spend your life building something just to have people tear it down...... build anyway." It’s about putting your heart and soul into a quality of life prioritization. I’ve been very fortunate that most of the time I’ve done that. I mean, I’m a human being and I’m the master of fuck up’s. When Ted Nugent does anything, he usually does it big including FUCKING UP!! Luckily, I have a very forgiving family and friends! It’s about standing up for what you believe in. It’s about knowing the true north compass setting that God put in our soul and our conscience and following it. Even when it is uncomfortable and even when it is less that indulgent and self gratifying. I do what I can, then again, I’m just human and I’ve fucked up and I have hurt people but at the age of 50, I’m getting better all the time. It is an important part of what Ted Nugent United Sportsman Of America is about. Knowing that we celebrate freedom in this country for one simple reason; because courageous men and women loaded their state of the art assault weapons and met the British at Concord Bridge when they tried to come and take away our guns we shot the motherfuckers dead. That’s how you do that!

It didn't say if this had aired yet or not, but this would be good for some laffs!NUGENT GOES WILD ON VH1 In a coup for outdoorsmen everywhere, Ted Nugent has again succeeded where so many have failed, in bringing the truth about hunting and law abiding gun ownership to a staunchly non-hunting and notoriously anti-gun demographic. The most recent triumph came about when Nugent accepted the challenge to teach fellow rocker Sebastian Bach how to go REALLY wild in a special two-part program, FOREVER WILD, on mega-station VH1. Originally scheduled as a one-hour show, VH1 brass quickly realized the shoot was so packed with energy and information that they opted to make Hunting with The Nuge a special 2-part episode. Bach and crew traveled to Nugent's rural Michigan home to experience the outdoor lifestyle up close and personal. With a strong emphasis on safety and accountability, Nugent taught Sebastian the finer points of marksmanship. "No matter what you do in life, if you are a disciplined marksman, you will be better at it. Marksmanship teaches you such a higher level of awareness, and discipline, you will apply it to any endeavor you choose, and you will be the best that you can be," stated Nugent. Bach proved to be a quick study, and the two rockers spent the afternoon afield, hunting and successfully bagging wild boar, which Nugent rendered into family-sized portions and grilled for cast and crew. By the end of the day's filming, Bach was decidedly pro-gun, pro-second amendment, and positively pro-Nuge! "Never have I been more inspired than I've been by Ted Nugent" enthused Bach. "I feel the Spirit of the Wild."

Ted Nugent sucks worse than the worst fucking bigot you can name. He thinks gays should be imprisoned and all "furriners" extradited, especially those that don't speak "Gods Language--American English." Oh, and his insatiable appetite for slaughtering defenseless wild animals is another of Ted's charming personality traits. I was reading a book on Aerosmith where the fucker made Joe Perry sick by showing him the front claws he'd just torn off a lion he'd killed in Africa. If it were up to me, Ted would have to do all his big game hunting with a rubber band and paper clip, and do all his hunting during Rhino rutting season. I fucking hate Ted Nugent. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't back up any of his political stands, but I have a hard time getting behind a lot of punk bands political stands too. Classic 70's Nugent rocks, Motor City Madhouse, Stranglehold, Just What the Doctor Ordered, Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, etc. This guy rocks! OK, the meat think I can't get behind either, but the Nuge IS against drugs and alcohol. That's cool in my book. I mean, how could you take this guy seriously anyway? Just crank up the jams and put your Camaro in 4th and let her rip. IP: Logged |

To those of us who grew up in bear country, this is not sporting and is now illegal. Anybody know who does the song "The Day Ted Nugent Killed All The Animals" ?IP: Logged |

Hi y'all - I'll just go straight to the bottom of this and say that my very first rock show was at the Brown County Veteran's Memorial Arena in Green Bay in 1978 and it was an event where my then-absolute hero, Terrible Ted Nugent, came out and laid down some wild fucking rock and roll on my 12-year-old ass in 1978 (for you purists, it was vocalist/rhythm guitarist Charlie Huhn, replacing Derek St. Holmes, unfortunately). I vividly recall (after opening with "Need You Bad" from the "Weekend Warriors" album he was promoting on at the time) the Nuge jumped off the amps (in moccasins with a coon tail on - with the black Gibson-Byrdland fucking airborne, baby!) during the encore of "Motor City Madhouse!" It was unnecessarily LOUD! Dad made me pass a joint over a sort of hippie girl's tits. He didn't blush or flinch. He just said "NO!" And off that joint went. I didn't even really know what it was. In those days, people used to throw firecrackers everywhere and you can hear evidence of this on the "Double Live Gonzo" album, if you care to listen. Tickets to the Green Bay show were $5.50 then. I'm sure they must have played Madison, Minneapolis or Milwaukee the night before. If there is a Nuge historian up there who'd like to inform me, I'd be grateful - he's not that bad. T-shirts were a staggering $7 - of the bootleg variety in the parking lot. Black Oak Arkansas opened with Jim Dandy (the kids would never know him, but he had a huge and hilarious white, sequined jump suit at the time when Johnny Thunders was slicking down to tight, black Levi's - not to mention Dave Vanian's sense of style) and thanks Ted! For all you folks who don't appreciate Ted, I, and perhaps several others, have very gradually advanced to the beautiful sounds of Memphis soul singer Lynn White, Danielle Dax, The Amboy Dukes, J.B. Lenoir - and even Canned Hamm. More power to the Motor City Madman. Grill 'em up Ted, just don't kill any of those weird deer here in "the Grand Dairy State. God Luv ya.IP: Logged |

Nugent Offers 'N Sync's Bass Hunting Lessons With Lance Bass' space flight plans seemingly scuttled, always-outrageous rocker Ted Nugent has come up with an alternate adventure for the 'N Sync member: bow hunting in Michigan. While the price tag on a trip on a Russian rocket is $20 million, Nugent said in a statement that his offer will set the singer back "only $1 million." The fee would cover the Motor City Madman's lessons in bow hunting basics and a week-long hunt where Bass would "be taught a greater appreciation for nature and gravity as he hunts, kills, cleans and cooks for himself," Nugent said. "Bass needs to quit worrying about going into outer space and embrace and celebrate life by learning how to kill his own food. A slab of flesh on the back of a deer is the finest source of protein on the planet." An avid and outspoken hunter, Nugent is also offering to sweeten the deal by "throwing in a few guitar lessons." Yesterday (Sept. 3), Russian Space Agency officials reportedly terminated Bass' space flight training because "his sponsors didn't fulfill the conditions of the contract and we never received the money." Bass has been training since July in Russia and at a NASA facility in Houston for the trip, which was to be the basis of a documentary television series. A representative for Bass had no comment on Nugent's offer, but noted that the performer is still in training, and fully expects that he will be aboard the Russian Soyuz rocket for the Oct. 28 mission to the International Space Station. Meanwhile, Nugent is on tour in advance of "Craveman," his first studio album in seven years, due Sept. 24 via Spitfire Records. He recently co-authored with his wife Shemane the wild game cookbook "Kill It & Grill It" (Regenery), and boasts he will kill 100 deer this year, most of which will be donated to homeless shelters via the Ted Nugent Hunters for the Hungry program. Here are Ted Nugent's upcoming tour dates: Sept. 5: Jacksonville, Fla. (Florida Theatre) Sept. 6: Sarasota, Fla. (Robarts Arena) Sept. 7: Pompano Beach, Fla. (Pompano Beach Amphitheatre) Sept. 8: Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (House of Blues) Sept. 22: Lubbock, Texas (South Plains Fair) -- Barry A. Jeckell, N.Y.

The first three albums are pretty good. He's a weird guy. It sounds like pure Detroit rock just like MC5 and some other bands but he reputes them all quite heavily, very strange. As far as all you people crying about hunters at least the animals die with dignity as opposed to being in a cage there whole life, but who cares about that shit anyway?IP: Logged |

Id like to make it perfectly clear. We like Ted Nugent. We don't care what else he says or does. It would behoove you not to tell me what to do. I WILL support the guitar wanking for that is what it's about punk, ROK and The Nuge does in fact ROCK>>>> Get it, Got it, Good.

The nuge is lame. LAME! I saw him at his peak, when I enjoyed his brand of testosterone-soaked rock music. I was bitterly disappointed in his lack of rocking, and ridiculous clothing choices. Derek St. Holmes or whatever his name is was waaaay more rocking than Theodore. I repeat, the Nuge sucks. Badly. And his bizarre politics and ideas are a meat-based icing on the lardy cake.
