A friend at work borrowed me these 80's comps and I came across this song "Love Missle F1-11". It's one of the few songs I liked.IP: Logged |

God, where to begin with SSS? Of course you know that it was masterminded by former London SS / Generation X bass player Tony James? Not punk in the musical sense, although if you listen you can really hear a Suicide influence (repetitive bass lines, stream-of-conciousness lyrics), but DEFINATELY in attitude. They were put together (or so the rumour goes) by people Tony James found in the clubs. He judged them by their looks because he said that he could "always teach them how to play instruments". The whole concept of the band was to be the ultimate product, and by rote rake in all the cash. they sold ad space on the first record, and it was one of the first pop records to be released on cd. They are still/back together and have most recently released a cd of Elvis Presley covers. sputnikworld.com IP: Logged |

Probably because you subconsciously remembered it from the soundtrack of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I suspect that is a big reason I like it.

You sure that wasnt George Clinton? For some reason I could've sworn that was George Clinton, but now that you mention it, I think you are right.

I know you're just trying to be funny, confusing SSS with Dr. and the Medics. What you fail to realize is that Spirit In The Sky was a Norman Greenbaum song from the late 60's, thereby negating any humour that may have been contained in your post.Moron IP: Logged |

Ah, while I did confuse the Dr. & the Medics with SSS, I was aware of the Norm Greenbaum original. You're not the only one who can claim right to a vast knowledge of useless infromation.Right backatcha buddy. IP: Logged |
