one of you techies should create an "agnostic font." Make it VERY METAL.

"VIVIAN, VIVIAN, VIVIAN! HONESTLY, EVERYTIME SOMETHING EXPLODES AROUND HERE, IT'S ALWAYS VIVIAN, VIVIAN, VIVIAN!"

How are TSOL these days? Decent? Worth watching. I got a comp. Not decided yet.

TSOL SUCKS! Really bad now. Awful! I don't know about live performance, but their newer (any of the last 15 years) stuff is shit. I think Tesco was right, TSOL are pussies.

Too bad. I always thought that Dance with Me was a great album. Their early ep(s?) are pretty good, too. I do remember the Revenge LP as being more kokey than a Gong show reunion, however.

Check out House Industries http://www.houseindustries.com for their Flyer Fonts font set (choose the Fonts menu and then select Flyer fonts), based on late 80's hardcore flyers. Even comes with a corresponding HC soundtrack. Some of the highlights include the Dogtown font, The Circle Jerks "Wonderful" font and the goofy HC clip art (Delaware Hardcore, since they're from Delaware).

Not one of their "best" fonts, but definitely interesting.

* Damn links in UBB.

When is mime makeup a good idea? The lead singer of TSOL looked like a child-molesting version of the Crow on crack. I seem to remember that they used to have a sense of style back in the day. Now coping a darksider parachute pants look. Very er... innovative.

And by innovative, I mean stupid.

AF are pretty much a joke. Their last two LPs were written by studo musicians (reportedly Brian Baker wrote most of it) and Vinnie Stigma's guitar isn't even plugged in, he just plays along to a tape recording. A parody of hardcore if you ask me. TSOL, didn't they go glam? Who wants them back?

Matt from Blind Approach was in AF for a long while. He wrote most of their material when he was in the band. Vinnie Stigma's "remote" was just an empty cigarette box wrapped in duct tape. Matt would stand behind the amps and play Stigma's leads for him. I've read interviews with Roger where he's like "well yes it isn't plugged in, but he's a great showman" Those guys are totally out of touch with hardcore, they just play music as a 9 to 5 gig. That's OK for some people I guess but for me punk rock should have some energy and passion so not the sort of band I'm into following.
