Twins opener today at KC 305pm FSN 830 WCCO Radke vs. Jeff SuppanThought I would start a new thread for the new season. Should be a good year if the pitching comes through and we stay healthy. We should at least make the playoffs if not even go further. Starting line up Jones LF Guzman SS Mientkiewicz 1B Ortiz DH Hunter CF Koskie 3B Buchanan RF Pierzynski C Rivas 2B

Just try and imagine hearing it and having to read it at the same time...our "little buddy" wanted me to post for him because he already has one browser up for the ESPN play by play and WCCO on the radio. But I take it all in stride...he has to deal with my English football obsession for AT LEAST 9 months out of the year. And don't even bother responding to this, Reno. We can argue footy face to face some other time...when I'm not on the verge of tears.

awesome game, eddie made me nervous at the end. I had flashbacks of the Hawk last season. Hey DEA you said you didn't want to discuss it but what football club do you support? That would explain why you are down about it. don't worry Man City is dominating division 1!IP: Logged |

Not to worry anymore! Man U plays Leicester on Saturday while the Gunners play the Spurs (I like to fantacize about the chance of the Gunners choking on a home city pitch). They can make up the 2 points and go to the top on GD...provided 'pool is off!!? I'm just a little sad about Veron's injury and him being out for the final leg of the Champions league. BUT...I'm really excited about going to the the home opener again this year. GO TWINKIES!!! IP: Logged |

wait a minute you support freakin' man u! I live with a huge arsenal guy and if they choke at home I'm going to have to move out for a week. You really should support someone a litlle less good though, man u is to buying championships as buying championships is to the yankees. did that make sense? go ipswich. and more importantly go twins! WELL, some of us have supported the club for well over a decade, pre-winning streaks and all. While some people support Chelsea or the Gunners because all of their favorite rock stars do, I picked Man U because all of my favorite bands grew up there and I'd never even realized that there was a Man City team (88-9?, cable only televised top division games). And I'm not about to STOP supporting them because they're on an amazing streak...that would be darned silly of me. It's nice to support a winner once in a while. And you can use my couch for a week if you need to...I'm a little messy, but there's always food in the kitchen and I live within walking/biking distance of your work/school (St. Thomas). GO TWINS!!!

Yeah, I noticed it was 1-0 at the top of the 8th when I was at the Turf Club, and I was hoping we could hold on. I'm glad Guardado had a more solid 9th inning than the other night - the shakes must be gone.I think I'm going to try and go to the game on Saturday, April 13th - I'm free that day, and if I don't go then I might not be able to go until mid-May, since I'll be gone. -j IP: Logged |

Good thing it was a cold night in Kansas City It kept the ball in the ballpark. Great catches by Jones and especially Hunter save the game. Koskie had a good game at the hot corner. Milton forget about it outstanding pitching.Onto Toronto today 305pm WCCO no TV Mays vs Halladay

Was anyone listening to the game on the radio last night when John Gordon goes so and so likes to listen the Twins while walking around the lakes and would like to give a shout out to Conrad from 1st Ave and Bill at the 400 Bar? I couldn't believe it. I didn't catch who it was did anyone else? Twins get smoked last night 9-3 Guzman has two errors in the same inning leading to 6 unearned runs.IP: Logged |

I now must go with FUCK CLEVELAND. Dammit, and I thought maybe just maybe they would get tired of getting their ass kicked in Cleveland but nooooo. But, hey Gardy got kicked out yet tried to hang out, that's pretty punk. Lots of batters hit by pitches. Well, we've got a pretty good stretch of home games now so we'll catch up to those bastards.
