wow, busted out of town.

Mullhawk, if you're still here, Newbury Comics is the most obvious choice, although I think they're pretty over-priced and hipster-ish. To tell the truth, I do most of my shopping these days online or at shows. As most people who have been record shopping with me can attest, record stores except for extreme noise make me impatient and irritable as all fuck.

What was the name of the record store in Cambridge, on one of the main drags, in the mid - 80's? The name Strawberry keeps popping up in my mind. Is it still there?

Would you be talking about a place called Strawberry's Records? An old girlfriend of mine used to shop there, years ago, and one of the Johns (I forget which is which) from They Might Be Giants worked there, I believe.

Uhh, sounds right...I was a very stoned teenager @ the times I went going there.I just remember being real impressed with the selection, the colors and the shiny objects...(did I mention the drugs?). I believe I got a Diamond Dogs LP.

Poppa, is Loony Tunes still in Kenmore Square?

(Whoops, edited because I am a space cadet.)
Loony Tunes is (was?) at Boylston and Mass Ave, near Berkley school of music.....
