I had a "band" that lasted 3 rehearsals. Guitar, bass, and a bunch of metal being pounded. That was in 1986. Haven't made "noise" since.

Monk has been fairly involved with the noise scene. He's the guy behind clandestine noise.

I'm outta tha loop right now. I don't know what's going on lately/locally. I'm kinda thinking that I'd like to do a one night stand improv thing with some TCPunkers. That might be cool. Also, I heard tell of The Urbandale Grimes Quintet coming back for another show! Who's playing SubZero this year?

good stuff now-

be on the look out for

Noodles/Tony Remple
Quad Muth
late
Enemy of the People

anyway, noise per se as noise is somewhat dead overall everywhere, all those bands that did that are attempting to make some kind of fucked music. more so the better 'noisey' stuff is coming from outstate. next weekend Tan As Fuck (formerly New Faggot Cunts) are playing here, either thursday or friday. i'll post about it. they are free electronic spirit music using rerigged electronics and whatnot.

If you want good fucked up records, buy one from me, i've yet to get ANY orders from ANYONE in MPLS. the website is updated http://www.freedom-from.com new 7" by violent ramp, wolf eyes' hardcore skatepunk band. there's more!

I wanted to go, but I couldn't find parking as was running late. After driving around 14th and 15th for 10 minutes, I gave up and drove home. I'm sure it was fun to watch.

It was really cool. The next one is on Jan 11th, I think.

Very much worth your time/money.

It made silent films enjoyable!! It added a lot, mood and everything. Fun stuff.
