I just thought it would be entertaining for you all to know what a fun time im having this week.
A few days ago I woke up in flames! I had fallen asleep with the candels burning and awoke sudenly to see the head board on fire! the candel gone! Flames reaching for my curtain, I think i swated it out on reflex. I found my pillow all full of wax and half melted. My top blanket was burned, the hood
on my leather jacket is cooked a little. Im lucky I didn`t burn all my hair off! I did burn my hands putting out the fire but I was able to ride out the throbing pain and get back to sleep....
Im glad im still alive here... just a little fire...

So anyway... then last night after my nightly outings I went back to northeast and figured I`d go down to Fat Boy`s pool hall on central and do some writing and planing right. The sign out front says open till 4am daily right. Cool, just as I thought and I went in and then went upstairs and sat at the table up there writing and reading a newspaper. I look at the time and it`s 3:25am
so I decide to leave. I go downstairs and oh ! all the lights are off. "Is there anybody here!?"
I go to leave via the front door but the bolt is locked and there is no way to unlock it from inside! So im locked in. I step back to where the phone is and think for a second and notice
the damn alarm is activated but I havent trigered it yet! So ! Call 911? Go back upstairs? Look for a backdoor? I see a green exit sign so I think I`ll go try the back door and take a few
more steps, BAMMMO! THE ALARMS GO OFF! AND LOUD! WOOOO WOOO WOOO WOOOW OOOOW!!!!!!!! AHHAAA!
So I called 911 realy quick and told them I was locked in there with alarms going off and the 2nd presinct right accross the street. And so a BUNCH
of cops came and i got a
gun aimed at my head before they figured out what was going on. IT SUCKED!
I was trying to explain myself locked in with a santa hat on, with alarms going off and a gun pointed at me. 2nd time I could have died! And the cop says "ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?" I just
nodded yes and looked at the gun in fear and put my hands up and turned around slowly. scary ! He said "STAY LIKE THAT" so I did, When i looked back after a minnute he was out of view.
The phone rang and It was some guy telling me he lived upstairs and just got back and didnt know how to get ahold of the owner and that the contact info was inside but the if I
was going to go rumage around
looking for it. So then he told me I could get out the back door. I relayed that to the police and went outback to put my hands on the wall and get searched and everything.. crazy.
Then the owner got there while I was in the back of the CopCar and he`s all bitching that I was never in his pool hall and they close at 2am and what was I doing out at 3:30am and calling me .
The stupid SIGN SAYS OPEN TILL 4AM DAILY! SO HIM!
Calling me names while im locked in a cop car.
Pshhha! The police guys handeled it well and just let me walk after they found nothing missing or broken. And the 2nd presinct being right accross the
street, they said they acctualy saw me get locked in an hour or so earlyer.... Ahh shhhizel my nizzle.
How has your week been going? Any thoughts?

wow, you poor thing. i am very sorry to hear about all your misfortunes.

did you get your burns checked out by a doctor or anything? i burned my pinkie on a hot iron once and yelped my head off. burns fucking hurt! take care of yourself, man.

and as for the cops, what jerks. and what an asshole the owner of the bar sounds like. did you point out to him his own freakin' sign?! at least it's all over now, and you know deep down in your heart that you are not a delinquent.

i truly hope things go much better for you this week. i am sure they will. maybe you should not burn candles in your room for a while. not so close to your bed anyway. just a suggestion!

My sister fell asleep in a movie theater in Monterey once years ago, woke up locked in and disoriented, called my mom from the payphone and came back to reality long distance. she managed to find an exit door that just let her leave luckily.

One time my brother was standing on his girlfriend's balcony smoking a bowl and he dropped it down below into the bushes, he went down to look for it, the cops came along and hauled him around in their squad for an hour questioning him about being a burglar or peeping tom and he couldn't tell him he was just looking for his favorite pipe. They finally let him go.

I was once beaten severely by a 7 ft tall cop with a superman emblem tattooed on his chest. He came into my friends apt, my friend wasn't there, and he took off his shirt and kicked my ass real good. Weird experience.

I feel for ya. I had my own "falling asleep with candles" incident several years ago thanks to the combo of pot and beer. We woke up to a minor but scary fire!
